Review: Yves Rocher Derma soothing day moisturizer--a dupe for Clinique moisture surge intense skin fortifying hydrator gel-creme
Yves Rocher Derma soothing day moisturizer is definitely a dupe for Clinique moisture surge.
YR's moisturizer is housed in a small portable jar with a pink lid. The jar looks small though it contains 50 ml.
The moisturizer is supposed to be a day time moisturizer without spf. I checked the ingredient list and did not find any sunscreen ingredients so I think you can use it in the night time as well.
I do not understand why some products claim to be day cream but with no SPF in it. I mean why bother it if it's just a moisturizer which can be used anytime anywhere?
The texture of Yves Rocher's Derma Soothing day moisturizer is gel to cream. It's lightweight, yet moisturizing.
You can see from the picture above, the textures are similar between the two. Clinique is a little bit (just a very tiny little bit) watery than YR. But when you apply it on the skin, you can not feel the difference. They are both light weight, hydrating and they do not irritate your skin at all.
Both of them claim to be suitable for sensitive skin, however, they do have some very light scent to it. Clinique is with a chemical scent while YR is floral. But the scent is really not detectable and it disappears immediately once you blend the cream into your skin.
All in all, if you like the texture and the feeling of Clinique moisture surge and do not want to spend more than 50 dollars for a jar of 50ml gel cream, give YR a try. At the price tag of $27 CAD it cannot go wrong--especially when it's 50% off!!

Review: Chanel sublimage masque essential regenerating mask
This mask is probably the best products among the Chanel Sublimage line.
The mask has a very elegant scent, which is very calming and soothing. The texture is not thick, yet very moisturizing. A little bit goes a long way. I use it as a night cream and it moisturizes very well. I also use it in the last step of my night time skin care routine. I do not feel it's necessarily to wash off after 10 minutes and it does not make me break out.
If you want to try products from Chanel Sublimage line you can start with this mask. It can work as cream and mask and it gives skin beautiful glow in the morning time.

Review: CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator
This is a gel-cream texture with a light scent which does not bother me. It hydrates me instantly once I put it on. I am not sure if it hydrates me 24 hours after I put it on but what I can be sure about is that it can work as good as night mask when I feel extremely dry some day in the winter.

Review: Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 intensive eye contour cream
I like this eye cream! It's more than an eye cream. I not only use it on my undereye area, but also on my lips and whole face.
The cream has very thick consistency, yet not greasy. It absorbs quickly. Since it's a little bit sticky, I use it as the last step of my skin care routine.
It says this is best for women around 40, but it works wonders for my mid-late 20s dry skin.
The sticky and thick consistency of the cream reminds me of cle de peau's intensive wrinkle cream (not sure about it's whole name, but it was a cream with airless pump.) It works better than cle de peau's cream. This eye cream can be the best dupe for cle de peau--inface, the whole line can be the dupe for cle de peau's older generation skin care lines.
The cream is not cheap, 15 ml retails at $65 CAD plus tax!
Review: CHANEL LE BLANC BRIGHTENING MOISTURIZING CREAM
The brightening moisturizing night cream is probably one of the cheapest Chanel's skin care products. It has 50 ml in it.
Personally I do not care too much about the brightening effects a product can bring to me. I simply like to try new products looks interesting to me.
The Chanel's night cream has a very classic and elegant look. The jar is quite heavy. The cream has some floral scent which I enjoy very much. I usually prefer unscented products. But the smell is so nice that I wish Chanel could make a perfume with the scent!
The cream is in gel-cream formula. Though it's not heavy, it's quite hydrating. When my skin is under normal condition, I can put a thick layer of it without topping anything else before sleep. When I wake up I do not feel dry, and skin is in well-balanced condition.
I am not sure how well it can lighten spots. But it makes my skin look healthy. Skin looks bright when it's healthy.
Overall, it's a good night cream that keep my skin moisturized and healthy. I like the texture and scent of it. I wish Chanel can make a perfume with that scent someday.
