Today I wore Clarins Everlasting foundation #105 on my right face while Dior #21 on the left face.
Dior Forever is almost a shade darker than my Clarins Everlasting foundation. After I set with my Clarins loose powder everything looks ok on my face. I feel Clarins is more hydrating while Dior Forever is a little bit dryer.
Both of them claim to be long wearing and have medium to full coverage. To me Dior Forever is slightly more matte than Clarins Everlasting.
Dior Forever did not look as beautiful as Clarins when first applied. But after hours of wearing Dior, it started looking not as matte as before. Actually I could not detect the difference between the two after 6 hours of wearing them if I did not remember which foundation I wore on which face.

FOTD: Revlon Color Stay for Normal to Dry and Almay TLC Foundation
I decided to wear two foundations on my face to compare. They are both long wearing foundation with good coverage. I put Revlon Colorstay on left side of my face while Almay TLC on the right side.
I have them both in shade buff. They both have super good coverage and staying power. I am very happy with their performance today.
Revlon seems to have a tiny bit better coverage than Almay. But it's not easy to detect. I wore them today to go hiking under sun for an hour and they both stayed very well. They did not leave any mark around my nose where I put my sun glasses. They both stayed for more than 8 hours without touching up.
It's 15 degree in Toronto today. Humidity 72 %.

FOTD: Clarins Everlasting Foundation
The foundation I am investigating today is Clarins Everlasting Foundation. It is one of the best foundations I have in my opinion.
My skin is not in its best condition since I have a period pimple on my right cheek and the face is slightly drier than normal because I did not sleep well.
Before I apply this foundation, I put Dior hydra life cream and Olay complete sensitive skin Spf 30 moisturizer, then I apply Clarins Everlasting Foundation with my finger. Since it's so creamy, it's very easy to blend into skin. I feel it is one of the foundations that help skin to achieve porcelain skin in a fastest and easiest way. The finish is also beautiful, not matte not flat at all, but covers very well. It is one of the very few foundations does not dry out my under eye. The lasting power is also great, it's the 10 th hour I am wearing it (I finished my makeup at 7:00) and still it looks so perfect.
I am very pleased with the foundation today because it performs so well even in my bad skin day.

FOTD: YSL teint de pearl fine sheer and pearly powder foundation moist skin-radiant complexion spf 18 pa++
After trying my Dior liquid foundations I removed them and applied YSL pearly powder foundation.
This powder foundation is a new one. I bought it from Strawberrynet last year and I believe it was released more than 3 years ago.
My favorite foundation routine is sunscreen with powder foundation. So I like powder foundations with some coverage.
YSL pearly foundation is not sheer in my opinion. It's not a very high coverage foundation but it's for sure not as sheer as some setting pressed powder. By applying this powder foundation with my The Body Shop mineral kabuki brush, it achieves more than medium coverage.
The finish is not matte at all, I guess it's because of the pearly ingredients in the powder. I like the finish because it not only offers coverage but also makes skin glow. It has some soft matte finish but with glow on the face.
The staying power is good as well. I applied it in the morning around 11:30 and it still stays. I did not touch it up.
To sum up, a finely-milled foundation offers good coverage with a beautiful finish.
